We're looking for candidates who will be comfortable working overtime and weekends for a company that has a lot of growth opportunities.

$28 - $30 per hour based on experience

Shift:

Regular hours will be 3rd shit, which is currently 7:30 pm â 6 am Monday â Thursday. Training will begin on the 1st shift for approximately 3-4 weeks, 6 am â 4pm Mon â Thurs, possibly Friday.

Job Description:

Maintenance is responsible for all troubleshooting and repair to mechanical and electrical equipment and general facility upkeep.
Perform scheduled PM (preventative maintenance)
Good attendance is crucial. Must have reliable transportation.
Must have own tools.
Should be able to work independently, as well as work good with others.
Use good judgement, work with sense of urgency, when needed. example: machine down
Must be able to crawl in and around machinery, reach, lift, pull, push, bend, use of ladder up and down equipment.
Must be able to lift, pull, push up to 40 lbs.
Good communication skills verbal and written.
Adhere to all policies and procedures concerning health, safety, and personal conduct.

Job Description:

Fitter/Welders are reading engineered drawings, cutting, welding, and assembling materials for our wide range of customers.
Handling, cutting, welding, and assembling materials (steel, stainless, aluminum) for our custom products.
Ensuring that all products are fabricated, welded, and installed according to our engineered drawings.
Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
Assist with the lay out, positioning, alignment, and securing of parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
Take pride in the quality of your work and servicing customers.
Work closely with other team members to accurately fulfill customer orders on time.

Requirements:

5+ years of fabrication AND welding experience (MIG, TIG, and Arc) with a variety of metals (mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel), welding certifications are a plus.

Mechanical abilities; skill in using tools such as saws, drills, grinders, cut-off wheels, clamps, levels, and tape measures.
Always communicating with clarity; strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to maintain a professional and clean workspace and assist in shop housekeeping.
Strong safety mindset and willingness to be part of and promote our safety culture.
Team player who can also perform without supervision

Physical & Mental Requirements:

Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations.
Required to frequently lift and move 10-50 pounds.
Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, and operate objects, tools, and controls.

Qualifications
