As a Heavy Truck Shop Manager you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of a busy truck maintenance and repair facility. Responsibilities of the Heavy Truck Shop Manager:

Oversee and manage daily operations of the truck maintenance and repair shop
Schedule, assign, and prioritize repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance
Ensure timely completion of work orders while minimizing vehicle and equipment downtime
Monitor shop productivity, efficiency, and overall performance
Supervise, coach, and support all shop personnel, including technicians and support staff
Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with company and safety standards
Maintain shop equipment, tools, and inventory to ensure readiness and reliability
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding repair status, timelines, and operational needs

Required Qualifications of the Heavy Truck Shop Manager:

Experience managing a truck or heavy equipment repair facility
Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy trucks and diesel systems

MIG weld flat, vertical or overhead welds
Install or repair metal components
Use grinding equipment in the cleaning process
Follow blueprints or technical schematics
Set up welders and welding stations

Master the use of hand and power tools.

Initiative in conducting recurring assignments to fabricate and assemble products by using drawings, sketches, and verbal direction.
Be proficient in some forms of process and tack welding; basic electrical skills including layout and mount conduit and pull & terminate wire; layout, cut & thread, and mount piping systems; set and align motors, pumps, other mechanical components etc.; lay out, set, level & align furnace drive systems.
Use overhead cranes and fork trucks to set up and/or move equipment. Will assist in loading and unloading equipment.
Perform jobsite installations as part of a field team and as a team leader
Assist in the training of less skilled or less experienced mechanics as directed by plant management.
Perform other duties and functions as required.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

A high school diploma or higher is required.
Continued education in a related field is preferred.
Strong mechanical ability.
Previous experience in welding, fabrication, electrical work, and piping.
The ability to plan and carry out tasks and work independently up to final review and decisions.

Responsibilities

Process and monitor incoming payments through various channels, including electronic transfers, checks, and credit card transactions.
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy of billing and collections.
Prepare detailed journal entries for receivables, deposits, and adjustments in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Collaborate with sales teams and clients to resolve billing discrepancies through effective negotiation and communication.
Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions using accounting software such as SAP, or similar system.
Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable and support audit requests involving SOX compliance.
Support the revenue cycle management process by verifying CPT coding, ICD-10 codes, and other medical billing requirements when applicable.
Conduct account analysis to identify overdue accounts and develop strategies for collection efforts.
Perform account reconciliation regularly to ensure data integrity across financial systems.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries regarding billing status or payment issues via phone or email.

Qualifications

Proven experience in accounts receivable functions within a corporate or public accounting environment.
Strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and account reconciliation.
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms; familiarity with Quicken is a plus.
Knowledge of SOX compliance standards and governmental or non-profit accounting is advantageous.
Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail for data entry and account analysis tasks.
Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately at a high speed; familiarity with medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-10 coding, and medical billing processes is desirable for healthcare-related roles.
Strong negotiation skills paired with effective phone etiquette for resolving billing disputes professionally.
Familiarity with financial software used in revenue cycle management and healthcare settings is preferred.

Position Overview
Cardinal Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Welder/Fabricator with strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with thick steel materials up to 1”. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment building and repairing heavy-duty industrial equipment. The ideal candidate has a stable work history, brings their own tools, and demonstrates a high level of welding proficiency, reliability, and craftsmanship.Key Responsibilities

Perform heavy MIG welding on thick industrial steel (up to 1” plate and structural components).
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
Fabricate, assemble, and repair large steel structures and components.
Use hand tools, grinders, torches, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect welds for accuracy, penetration, and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on equipment as needed.
Work safely in a production environment while following all company safety protocols.
Maintain a clean, organized, and tool-ready work area.

Requirements

Must have own tools (basic mechanical and fabrication tools).
Stable work history â 2+ years at previous jobs (no job hopping).
Industrial welding experience required â especially MIG on thick steel up to 1”.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
Ability to perform physical work: bending, standing, lifting heavy steel.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Shift & Schedule

MondayâThursday, 6:00 AM â 4:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Mandatory overtime on Fridays as production requires

Compensation

$22â$26/hour, based on experience and weld test performance
Additional overtime pay (Fridays and occasional extended hours)
