• Empacar y etiquetar productos de carne o alimentos según las especificaciones de la empresa
• Cargar y descargar productos de las líneas de producción o estaciones de trabajo
• Pesar, clasificar e inspeccionar productos para asegurar calidad y consistencia
• Operar herramientas y equipos básicos bajo supervisión
• Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y organizada, incluyendo la eliminación adecuada de desperdicios
• Seguir todas las normas de seguridad alimentaria, limpieza y políticas de la empresa
• Trabajar en un ambiente refrigerado (temperaturas frías)
• Realizar tareas repetitivas como levantar, estar de pie y agacharse por períodos prolongados
• Apoyar con la limpieza y sanitización al final del turno

Requisitos:

• No se requiere experiencia previa – ofrecemos entrenamiento

• Sort, inspect, and process healthcare linens (gowns, sheets, towels, etc.)
• Operate production equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines

Cardinal Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Sit-Down Hi-Lo Operator / Yard Driver / Truck Loader to support daily yard and warehouse operations at our Livonia facility. This role is responsible for operating a sit-down forklift (hi-lo), transporting materials throughout the facility and yard, and loading/unloading trucks safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has prior forklift experience and is comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor industrial environments.Essential Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down hi-lo (forklift) in a safe and efficient manner
• Load and unload flatbeds, trailers, and delivery trucks
• Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse and yard
• Stage materials for production and shipment
• Verify quantities and materials against shipping documentation
• Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transport
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns

Qualifications

What You’ll Do: 

• Under limited supervision and with minimal technical guidance, keeps plant machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair.

• Install, replace or repair electric motors, from fractional to multiples of hundred horsepower, at times having to lift, push or pry to get motors in place or align them.
• Conducts planned, preventive, and predictive maintenance for equipment, machinery, and tools.
• Reviews manufacturer's service manuals, and records of maintenance problems to determine optimum frequency of preventive maintenance (PM).
• Utilizes computerized systems to input PM orders and track status and/or completion.
• Performs advanced troubleshooting. Performs Root cause analysis. Must be able to trouble shoot electrical circuits to find problem and get equipment back on line.
• Must be able to use tools such as, but not limited to, electric drills, surface grinders, hammer drills, all types of conduit benders, and wire pullers in the course of doing the job.
• Perform all work in a safe manner, paying special attention to lock out tag out procedures.

1. Set up and operate either saw at rated production levels
2. Cut and deburr tube to ensure correct lengths, quality cuts, and proper packaging per order specifications
3. Tack weld the ends of round tube bundles prior to cutting
4. Load long lengths using an overhead crane and remove cut lengths with a forklift as necessary
5. Cut, remove, replace, and crimp steel banding as required
6. Accurately read and use micrometers, vernier calipers, radius gauges, and measuring tape
7. Read and interpret cutting orders
8. Complete all required saw paperwork accurately
9. Communicate and coordinate effectively with:
   1. Shipping
   2. Material Handling
   3. Maintenance
10. Assist with and develop saw procedures for all tube sizes
11. Change saw blades and track blade life as needed
12. Assist with saw maintenance as directed
13. Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
14. Follow all written and verbal procedures
15. Perform other duties as assigned

Technical Skills

• Ability to safely set up and operate industrial saw equipment
• Experience cutting and deburring steel tube or similar materials
• Ability to operate an overhead crane and forklift safely
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments, including:
  • Micrometers
  • Vernier calipers
  • Radius gauges
  • Measuring tape
• Ability to read and interpret cutting orders and production documents
• Ability to complete production paperwork accurately
• Basic mechanical aptitude (blade changes, minor maintenance support)
