Pay: $23.00 – $26.00/hr (Based on experience)

Cardinal Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Welder / Fabricator to support a well-established company in the manufacturing and industrial equipment industry located in Grand Ledge, MI. If you have expertise in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding and thrive in a custom fabrication environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for custom fabrication projects
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding to assemble and fabricate equipment components
- Execute complex layouts and use hand tools, shear brakes, roll formers, and other fabrication tools
- Accurately determine welding procedures and techniques based on material types
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment to meet production and quality standards
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to verify tolerances and specifications
- Clean welds and components before and after assembly as required
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace, following all safety protocols
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 5–7 years of industrial welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding
- Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
- Experience with mills, lathes, presses, and other machining equipment strongly preferred
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Must provide your own welding tools and safety gear
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in moderate to loud environments with varying temperatures
