Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring a Warehouse Manager for a large, well-known client in Northwood, OH. As a Warehouse Manager, you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations, ensuring that quality product is received, processed, and delivered in a timely manner according to client expectations. The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of receiving, moving, locating, relocating, and shipping merchandise. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! Available shifts include Monday to Friday, 6:30AM to 4:30PM (may require staying over), Rotating Saturdays The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, lead and develop the warehouse team and provide impeccable customer service to our clients.
- Provides materials, equipment, communication, motivation for a successful team.

- Maintains warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating daily procedures and staffing assignments, while enforcing program operational procedures and personnel policies.
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
- Controls and manages inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
- Manages warehouse employees and oversee daily operations
- Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Performs general maintenance of machinery used in the warehouse, inspect condition of tools and equipment
- Enforce all company rules and regulations
- Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every job
- Establish and maintain the continuous flow process to ensure timely delivery to the internal and external customers
- Train, coach and manage all receiving and shipping associates in all policies and procedures of the company
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Operate a Forklift as needed to support daily customer requirements
- Previous Warehouse Management Experience
- Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
- 2 years of Forklift experience required
- Proficient in Excel
- Inventory Management Experience
- Strong oral, written communication skills
- Experience in Supervision, Safety Management, Developing Standards, Managing Processes, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information, Equipment Maintenance, Proven experience as Warehouse/Receiving & Shipping supervisor Experience, wireless networking, bar codes, RF bar code scanners, and preparing shipping documents (i.e. ASN) Good understanding of budgeting and reporting Excellent organizational and communication skills Data driven, analytical and Problem-solving abilities
