Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring for Truss Production Workers in Cortland, IL. As a Truss Production Worker for Cardinal Staffing, you will be part of a small but efficient team working in a dynamic environment to assist in the production of trusses used for roofs and floors.
Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($16-$18 per hour based on experience), as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
Available Shifts:
1st shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday, with some Fridays as needed for overtime.
Responsibilities of Truss Production Workers:
• Assemble and build trusses for roofs and floors using manual tools such as hammers and nail guns.
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the workspace, adhering to all safety protocols, including the use of gloves and hearing protection.
• Collaborate with the production team to assist with the truss manufacturing process from start to finish.
• Inspect completed trusses to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Assist with preparing materials, setting up the production area, and maintaining equipment.
Required Qualifications of Truss Production Workers:
• Previous experience in construction or using tools is preferred but not required.
• High attention to detail and adherence to safety/compliance standards.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including repetitive hammering and lifting.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative environment and follow instructions.
