Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring for a temporary Bookkeeper in Tallahassee, FL. As a Bookkeeper for Cardinal Staffing Services, you will be working in on a 60-day project in an office environment and contribute to various financial tasks.*Pay is $17.00 per hour*To apply for this role, you must have an associate degree or higher level of education (accounting or business management preferred).Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records through double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Maintaining general ledgers and reconciling accounts.
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks.
  • Ensuring journals and ledgers are accurate and current.
  • Providing administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
Key Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in related roles, preferably in public accounting, bookkeeping, or finance.
  • Familiarity with accounting software like Xero, Quicken, or Sage is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
