TIG Welder – Precision & Aerospace Standards-Sterling Heights, MIPay: $23+ DOE | 1st Shift + Overtime
Are you a highly skilled TIG Welder who takes pride in clean, precise welds? Join a team where your craftsmanship matters. We’re seeking an experienced TIG Welder to work with aluminum, stainless steel, and nickel alloys on high-quality, custom components that meet AWS and aerospace specifications.
This is an excellent opportunity for welders who enjoy working with thin-gauge materials, reading detailed blueprints, and producing work that meets exacting standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for welders who enjoy working with thin-gauge materials, reading detailed blueprints, and producing work that meets exacting standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- TIG weld aluminum, thin-gauge stainless steel (down to 0.032”), and nickel alloy components
- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment with precision
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
- Perform welding to AWS and aerospace standards
- Fabricate custom and specialized components per job requirements
- Prepare joints using hand grinders, sanders, and related tools
- Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and specification compliance
- Maintain welding equipment in safe, working condition
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills during fabrication
- Support production needs with additional duties as required
- Completion of a one-year welding certification program OR at least one year of related TIG welding experience (or equivalent combination)
- Proven TIG welding experience (required)
- Ability to pass a weld test
- Strong attention to detail and steady manual dexterity
- Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment
- Ability to meet all pre-employment requirements
- Competitive pay starting at $23+ DOE
- 1st shift schedule with overtime opportunities
