Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring Production Supervisor for a large, well-known client in Defiance, OH. As a Production Supervisor you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations, managing the day-to-day operations of the production floor: scheduling shifts, monitoring production throughput and meeting output targets.

Available shifts include:2nd shift Mon-Fri 3pm-11:30pm ***This will transition to night shift 6PM to 6AM starting 01/05/2025***

Requirements of the Job:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and output goals.
- Lead, train, and motivate production staff to ensure strong performance and teamwork.
- Monitor equipment and processes, addressing issues and coordinating maintenance as needed.
- Track production metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with planning, maintenance, and logistics to maintain smooth production flow.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred.
- 3–5+ years of manufacturing/production experience, including supervisory or team-lead experience.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-management skills.
- Knowledge of production processes, equipment, quality, safety, and continuous improvement practices (Lean/Kaizen).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; flexible with shifts and overtime.
- Proficient with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, ERP/production systems).
