Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services is now hiring Stand-up Forklift Material Handlers for a prominent client in the manufacturing and materials processing industry located in Belvidere, IL. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting warehouse operations by staging materials, pulling orders, and ensuring a smooth flow of goods within the facility. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation at $17.00/hr as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are also available upon hire. Available Shift:
  • Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, with some overtime as needed
 Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:
  • Safely operate stand-up forklifts to move, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Use scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate movement and placement of products.
  • Pull and prepare orders for shipment in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support the organization of warehouse areas to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed.
  • Perform other warehouse tasks to support team goals and ensure a seamless workflow.
 Required Qualifications of the Forklift Operator:
  • Must have previous experience operating a stand-up forklift.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety compliance.
  • Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Comfortable with lifting and moving materials as needed.
