Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring for Shop Foreman in a facility that creates fiberglass items in Norwalk, OH. These items include mascots, waterslides, playground equipment, splashpads, and more! 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. 
  • Allocate work assignments and ensure that work is performed in accordance with established procedures and quality standards
  • Monitor and review progress of work orders, ensuring that deadlines are met and any issues/delays are promptly addressed
  • Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed repairs to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues or problems - providing technical expertise and guidance. 
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to promote a safe and clean working environment
  • Collaborate with other departments or teams to facilitate smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practice - continuously enhancing your knowledge and skills to improve shop operations. 
Requirements/Preferences:
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to finding solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound decision-making skills with the ability to make informed judgements and handle unexpected situations or challenges
  • Strong knowledge of shop equipment and tools
  • Prior experience in a construction or carpentry related field.
