Cardinal Staffing Services, is hiring an experienced Shipping and Receiving Specialist in Maumee, OH.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who has a mechanical aptitude in addition to a warehouse background.
As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist for Cardinal Staffing, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:
Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation ($20/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
Monday- Friday: 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Minimal overtime

As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist for Cardinal Staffing, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:
- Forklift
- Inventory / Cycle Counts
- Picking/ Packing
- Paperwork for shipping and receiving
- Assembly work
- Loading/unloading CNC Router machines

Responsibilities of the Shipping and Receiving Specialist:
- Pick, pull, and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area.
- Process inbound and outbound shipments.
- Cycle counts, and managing inventory.
- Safely & efficiently use warehouse equipment including forklift, pallet jack, hydraulic jack, RF Scanner, computers, and handheld printers.
- Assembling components using hand tools.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions.
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Team oriented, willing to work in other areas in the facility
- Organizational skills
- High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
- Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
