Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services, is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a toy distributor in Whitehouse, OH. As a Shipping Clerk, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and support daily inbound and outbound operations such as: 
  • Ensuring materials are received correctly
  • Orders are shipped on time
  • All records are maintained with a high level of accuracy and compliance
  Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members!  All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $20/hr as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).  Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. 
1st shift: Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 4:30 pm.  
Overtime may be mandatory during the week and on Sundays.  
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate:  
  • Receive inbound shipments. 
  • Inspect incoming materials. 
  • Process outbound shipments. 
  • Stage, load, and unload trucks
  • Update WMS/ERP systems
  • Coordinate with carriers
  • Assist with cycle counts
  Required Qualifications of the Warehouse Associate:   
  • Experience with WMS systems 
  • Forklift certification (sit-down, stand-up- or reach truck). 
  • Knowledge of LTL, FTL, and parcel shipping processes.
  • Familiarity of dock scheduling and carrier coordination 
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
