Job Description
Cardinal Staffing is seeking a MACHINE OPERATOR with previous experience in the carton packaging industry. The preferred candidate will know how to adjust sheeter machines and straight cutter machines to cut sheets of paper with specified size and weight to maintain required quality and quantity of production; and receives raw material to specifications by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Adheres to paperwork information per customer specs· Accurately follows job bag information for each customer· Correctly figures out needs for jobs being run using basic math skills· Precisely inputs production information into the manufacturing software following work instructions and using basic computer knowledge2. Sets up sheeter/straight cutter in a timely matter for proper sheeting of raw material· Places roll on roll stand in line with customer specs· Sets sheeting machine to proper length and width in accordance with customer specs· Gathers flat stock for ream cut jobs in accordance with customer specs· Sets ream cutter to proper sizes in accordance with customer specsPerforms maintenance· Completes machine maintenance according to maintenance schedule for Sheeter and Straight Cutter
Compensation & hours:Base rate of $18.00 - Training on 2nd shift 12 noon to 10p M-TH W/ .25 shift differentialMoving to 3rd shift 7pm-5am M-TH includes .50 shift differential $18.50 About Cardinal Staffing
