Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring Scheduling Assistant for a large, well-known client in Roseville, MI.  As an Administrative Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced office environment and be involved in all aspects of scheduling:

  • Clerical Duties and Office Support
  • Warehouse Operations Support
  • Administrative Duties
 
Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members!  All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation $15-16 an hour as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).   

Available shifts include 1st: 6am-2:30pm.   

Clerical/Office Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Create shippers – for subcontractors, internal inventory transfers and AIM/EDI
  • Use multiple customer web portals for packaging, shipping labels, and verification 
  • of requests by matching PO’s/Parts/Qty
  • Schedule part pickups for certain customers
  • Create/update packaging plans in customer portals/websites
  • Log, Scan and File all incoming and outgoing shippers and documents.
  • Track down missing shippers
  • Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) submissions and verifications
  • Verifying correct PO/SO for jobs
  • Assist Scheduler and Program Managers in keeping the process moving smoothly
  • Verifying all shipments are properly recorded
  • Provide customers with information about shipments
  • Ensure that all coating specs, bin locations, inventory quantities, etc are correct
  • Review shipment information for accuracy prior to shipment.
  • Report production road blocks to Department Scheduler.
  • Support compliance with RCO Quality Policies
  • Support corporate continuous improvement initiative.
  • Any other duties as assigned
  Clerical Requirements and Qualifications 
  • Shipping Department experience a plus
  • Customer Web Portals experience a plus
  • Automotive production office experience
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Solid time management skills; able to prioritize
