Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Saw Machine Operator for a manufacturing company in Detroit, MI. A successful Saw Operator should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines.

This is a 1st shift position from 7am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday. Occasional overtime is available.

Responsibilities of the Saw Operator:
- Set up the saw machine, making adjustments for each job
- Set stops or guides to specified lengths
- Operate the saw machine, keeping an eye out for any defects or issues
- Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy
- Help pack and transport finished pieces
- Read dials and meters to ensure equipment is operation according to specifications.
- 1-2 years of previous experience.
- Basic math skills.
- Understanding of computers and in programs like Word, Excel, and Office strongly preferred.
- Fast learners, and detail-oriented people encouraged to apply.
- Team players preferred as this is a job that requires open communication and working toward a goal.
