Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for a Receiving Inspector for an aerospace manufacturing company in Roseville, MI. A successful candidate should have be comfortable in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation between $17-20/hr based on experience as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
This is a 1st shift position from 6am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday. Occasional overtime is available.

Responsibilities of the Receiving Inspector:
- Evaluates documentation, performs laboratory procedures, inspects incoming products, measures process performance, records data and prepares formal reports.
- Reads and interprets materials, such as work orders, inspection manuals, and blueprints, to determine inspection and test procedures.
- Inspects materials, products, and work in progress for conformance to defined requirements (engineering drawings and specifications).
- Marks items for acceptance or rejection, records test results and inspection data, and compares findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards.
- Tests and measures finished products, components, or assemblies for functioning, operation, accuracy, and to verify adherence to functional specifications.
- Reads dials and meters to ensure that equipment is operating according to specifications
- Support compliance with company Quality Policies.
- Support corporate continuous improvement initiative
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Must have experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years on-the-job experience in mechanical inspection.
