Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services hiring Reach Truck drivers in a labatory facility located in Warren, MI. 1st and 2nd shifts starting at $20 an hour
Job Duties: Operate reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the
warehouse
• Perform order picking using reach trucks and other equipment to fulfill customer orders accurately
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
• Maintain inventory organization by stacking and storing products safely at various heights
• Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance with OSHA
standards
• Support warehouse management system data entry for inventory tracking and order processing
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage space and improve distribution efficiency
• Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to proper materials handling procedures
• Participate in warehouse safety training sessions and uphold OSHA regulations at all times
Requirements
• Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse
setting
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures
• Familiarity with order picker operations and warehouse distribution processes
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and materials handling
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
• Prior experience in shipping & receiving or general warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisorsAvailable shifts:
