Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector for an automotive manufacturing company in Clinton Township, MI. A successful Quality Inspector should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines.

Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
This is a 1st shift Monday to Friday with the potential of Overtime on Saturday.
Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector:
· Read and interpret materials, such as work orders, inspection manuals, and blueprints, to determine inspection and test procedures.· Inspect materials, products, and work in progress for conformance to defined requirements.· Mark items for acceptance or rejection, record test results and inspection data, and compare findings with specifications.· Confers with vendors and others regarding inspection results, recommends corrective procedures, and compiles reports of results, recommendations, and repairs.· Test and measure finished products, components, or assemblies for functioning, operation, and accuracy to verify adherence to functional specification.· Read dials and meters to ensure equipment is operation according to specifications.· Needs to be able to read blueprints, tolerance exp, material thickness, micrometers, gauges
Required Qualifications of the Quality Inspector:
· Knowledge and experience in measuring equipment such as Calipers, and Micrometers is required.· Understanding of computers and in programs like Word, Excel, and Office strongly preferred.· A minimum of 2 years on the job experience in mechanical inspection.· Fast learners, and detail-oriented people encouraged to apply.· Team players preferred as this is a job that requires open communication and working toward a goal.
