Cardinal Staffing Services hiring an experienced Quality Control Technician for a manufacturing facility located in Saginaw, MI. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician Include:
RESPONSIBILITIES

Timely Preparation of Graphs
Process work instructions presented, reviewed and signoffs by employees
CPR’s received from customer
TS16949 Audit Findings (minor and major)
Positive Communication – Training, Plant Wide Presentations, Shift Meeting Presentations.

Shifts:
1st Shift: 7am - 3pm (Monday - Friday) (Saturday as needed)
Pay:
1st Shift: $23/hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for ensuring corporate integrity within their area of expertise.

- Responsible for implementing the philosophy of total quality and the use of quality control (statistical problem solving and customer service) techniques within their position.
- Responsible for in-process audits, i.e. Brinell audits, dock audits, documentation audits, door seal audits, suspended materials audits and temperature audits.
- Responsible for the maintenance and requisition of all quality assurance supplies.
- Responsible for the resolution of customer inquiries related to quality
- Responsible to ensure that all products are processed as prescribed in accordance to customer specifications.
- Responsible for the implementation, review, revisions and distribution of quality assurance procedures and policies.
- Develop, review, revise and distribute the quality assurance manual.
- Responsible for the cleanliness, orderly presentation and control of product in the holding/non-conforming area
- Responsible for the maintenance and calibration of all quality equipment, all furnace controls, and all monitoring systems.
- Responsible for the adherence to TS16949 procedures and requirements.
- Responsible for the presentation of appropriate documentation (Key Measures/Monitors) to review quality trends.
- Responsible for directing and/or assisting the furnace operators/ inspectors, fork truck drivers, and maintenance department in their duties when the need arises.
- Responsible for assisting the Quality Manager with special projects or assignments.
- Responsible for quality assurance authority and responsibility in the absence of Quality Manager.
- Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly duties as assigned by Quality Manager.
- Responsible for forklift driving when needed.
- Responsible for process sheets, rework programs, and nonconformance reports.
- Responsible for understanding and following safety practices.
- Responsible for general overall housekeeping.
- Responsible for maintaining workforce morale.
- Responsible for communicating with others and participating in a group/team environment.
- Responsible for attending team meetings and prescribed training sessions.

JOB STANDARDS
- Responsible for understanding and following safety practices and reporting safety hazards.
- This job description is not intended to be all inclusive and employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency
- Must have TS16949 and APQP prior experience
- Completion of SPC training and basic quality control classes.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Must be willing to work toward attaining company goals and objectives.
- Must be willing to work in a shared responsibility and group setting.
- Must be capable of learning multiple tasks and willing to stay abreast of changes in tasks as well as learn new tasks.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with their position.
- Must possess a positive attitude; be dependable, reliable, self-motivated, and trustworthy.
- Must have forklift experience.
- Capable of operating saws, drills, and other hand tools.
- Must be willing to work various shift schedules.
