Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring a Quality Control/Picture Framer for a picture framing company in Maumee, OH. TheQuality Control/Picture Framer is responsible for checking the quality of cut wood and metal frames as well as mats, glass, and finished pieces of art. They will also be expected to jump in and help out with various framing tasks as needed.  Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members!  All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($15) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).  Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.   First shift position: Monday through Friday, 6:30am-3:15pmOvertime available occasionally on Saturdays.  
Responsibilities of the Quality Control/Picture Framer: 
  • Quality control in the frame shop 
  • Measuring materials and making sure they're cut properly
  • Inspecting all materials and artwork before it leaves the frame shop
  • Jumping into framing tasks to help with work flow 
  • Cross training in various departments
 Required Qualifications of the Quality Control/Picture Framer:
  • Keen eye for detail (quality, debris, reading work orders, color differences)  
  • Proven ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16" and pass a measurement test. 
  • Good hand grip for pneumatic and power tools
  • Primarily standing, bending, twisting
  • Willingness to cross train 
  • Previous picture framing experience a bonus
