Job Description
Cardinal Staffing is hiring a QA Lab Technician for a food manufacturing facility in Sandusky, Ohio.This is a hands-on quality role that works both in the QA lab and directly on the production floor. Candidates must be comfortable being on their feet, walking throughout the facility, and communicating closely with production teams.

Responsibilities include:
- Product testing frequently (moisture, pH, color, weights, dimensions, salt levels, breakage, coating %, oil pick-up%)
- Communicating test results to line managers, leads, and the Mixing Department
- Packaging testing frequently (O2 results, seal checks, code date checks)
- Performing retesting when required
- Collecting data for the Net Weight Program and performing MAV testing
- Dough gluten testing when needed
- QA audits of production lines
- Collecting and maintaining QA retain samples
- Maintaining a sanitary and organized QA lab
- Completing daily product sensory evaluations
- Experience in food quality, food manufacturing, or a QA environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently at times
- Ability to communicate clearly with production teams
