About the RoleCardinal Staffing is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Chemical Production/Packers for a reputable employer in Eaton Rapids. This is a hands-on production and packaging role in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, consistent attendance, attention to safety, and prior production, packaging, or leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Package approximately 5,000 lbs. of resin chemicals daily
- Label and prepare containers and boxes for production
- Dispense chemical products into containers ranging from pint cans to 450 lb. drums
- Arrange filled containers into boxes and stack finished product onto wooden skids
- Clean and maintain 350-gallon mixing vessels using brushes, rags, and approved cleaning solutions
- Wear and maintain required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, sleeves, bump caps, and occasional full-face shields
- Previous production, warehouse, packaging, or chemical manufacturing experience preferred
- Prior leadership experience in a production or industrial environment is a plus
- Ability to repeatedly lift and handle heavy materials throughout the shift
- Comfortable working around chemical products and cleaning solutions
- Strong attention to detail, quality, safety, and workplace cleanliness
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
