Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring Process Technicians for a plastic injection molding company in Defiance, OH.  The Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician will manage the entire molding process including; equipment set-up, reading and following specifications, and inspecting molds, and delivering finished products to end-user for delivery. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members!  All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($23-$30 per hour to start) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).  Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.   Available shifts include 2nd 3PM to 11:30PM or 3rd 11PM to 7:30AM.  Scheduled overtime is mandatory.
Responsibilities of the Process Technician (Plastic Injection Molding) 
  • Set-up and operate injection molding machines, vision systems, down-stream equipment, and material feed equipment.  
  • Monitor process parameters on the injection machines and secondary systems. 
  • Safe, accurate, and timely executive of tooling changeovers per work instructions. 
  • Set up and adjust assembly, auxiliary, and packaging equipment. 
  • Troubleshoot molding problems including but not limited to flash, short shots, dimensional issues, etc. 
 Required Qualifications of the Process Technician (Plastic Injection Molding):
  • Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating. 
  • Previous plastics injection molding experience a plus. 
  • Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed. 
  • Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
