Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring a Packaging Specialist for the shipping department for a picture framing company in Maumee, OH. The Packaging Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the safe packaging and efficient shipping of products to customers nation-wide. This position is responsible for packaging orders and helping to ensure quality control.
This includes tasks such as frame inspection, hardware assembly, boxing frames, packaging various types of orders, and occasionally assisting in the manufacturing process. Additionally, the role requires proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including banding machines, and basic power tools.
Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($15) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
First shift position: Monday through Friday, 6:30am-3:15pm Overtime available occasionally on Saturdays. Responsibilities of the Packaging Specialist:

- Inspect frames and overall quality before packaging.
- Building boxes to customer sizes to accommodate artwork.
- Use various tools and equipment
- Package artwork to prevent breakage in shipping.
- Be willing to cross train in other departments.
Required Qualifications of the Packaging Specialist:
- Proficiency using various power and hand tools.
- Proficiency using a banding machine.
- Quality experience a plus.
