Job SummaryThe Operations Manager is a working manager that is responsible for ensuring employee placements at customers, overseeing the operational duties of assigned Cardinal branches, and meeting customer needs. This is done through implementing established processes and procedures and as well as ensuring standardization across assigned branches and/or territory.  Responsibilities Administrative Functions
  • Ensure open orders are accurate and have the information needed to make a placement
  • Provides overall direction of activity on assigned On-Site/Corporate accounts. 
  • Provide input on annual sales budget for assigned On-Site/Corporate accounts.
  • Creates and maintains operational procedures around how a branch finds, places, and interacts with candidates on a regular basis. 
  • Ensures assigned locations are in compliance with Cardinal, local, state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Maintains any systems needed to perform the operational functions.
  • Creates reports for clients and management as requested.
  • Ensure employees have continuous learning and training programs 
  • Work with Branch to create recruitment plans.
  • Assist with the development of proposals as requested.
  • Resolves customer issues.
  • Travel to customers.
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and other meetings, such as seminars.
  • Participate in Sales opportunities as requested.
  • Ensure the objectives of the role and the team are met.
  • Adhere to the Cardinal Culture Fundamentals.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Managerial Functions
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Perform necessary follow through on assigned client orders in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure Cardinal standards of service are being met.
  • Oversee the team that is making placements and ensure placement and retention goals are met
  • Work with Corporate to develop short-term and long-term operational plans for each assigned location which supports the overall objective of the company.
  • Responsible for the training and professional development of designated staff members through ongoing feedback and goal setting.
  • Completes appropriate documentation for internal associates relative to performance.
  • Serves as a point of contact for personnel issues related to assigned team.
  • Resolves client disputes in a professional manner without losing sight of the mission.
  • Ensures that their team completes day-to-day functions in a timely professional manner.
  • Perform necessary follow up with candidates once they have been placed into a position.
 Qualifications
  • Ability to manage multiple people
  • Ability to consistently reach goals
  • Ability to analyze a situation, identify a plan of action, and work with the team to execute the plan to completion.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and corporate, including understanding when to involve each of the groups in various situations
  • Ability to organize and prioritize
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm manner.  
  • Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in service and leadership or similar field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar field or equivalent work experience.
