This is a hands-on maintenance role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where safety, precision, and reliability are key.This position focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance of industrial production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This is a hands-on maintenance role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where safety, precision, and reliability are key.This position focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance of industrial production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic preventative maintenance on industrial equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, valves, transformers, and production machinery
- Diagnose equipment failures and perform necessary adjustments or repairs
- Assist in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery
- Repair and test electrical components including relays, switches, wiring, motors, and sensing devices
- Work on chemical pumps, valves, and plumbing systems in CIP (Clean-In-Place) kitchens
- Utilize predictive maintenance tools such as vibration analysis, ultrasound, and thermography (preferred)
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and all food safety standards (SQF, FDA, PMO)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend equipment or process improvements
- High School Diploma or GED required (apprenticeship preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with industrial production equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical components and diagnose mechanical issues
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial plant environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-based setting
- Basic computer skills (email, documentation, reporting)
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, crouch, and kneel as needed
- Moderate physical activity in a production environment
- Exposure to moderate noise levels and cold temperatures
