Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Die Setter/Operator for an automotive manufacturing company in Roseville, MI. A successful Die Setter should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines.

This is a 1st shift position from 6am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday. Occasional overtime is available.

Responsibilities of the Die Setter:
- Set up compression and injection molding machines and area for processing. Operate injection
- Install molds into presses in accordance with company standards.
- Set up raw material and packaging material in work area.
- Operate the machine after initial runs are completed by Processor.
- Support molding activity to ensure production requirements.
- Maintain molds to meet customer expectations.
- Trim and assemble parts as needed.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in die setting.
- Additional certifications or related training a plus.
- Good math skills
- Must be able to obtain overhead crane and powered industrial truck licenses.
- Fast learners, and detail-oriented people encouraged to apply.
- Team players preferred as this is a job that requires open communication and working toward a goal.
