Job Description
Cardinal Staffing is hiring a Metal Processor for a local manufacturing facility to run their Laser cutting table and support other fabrication equipment. This is not a CNC machining role, they are looking for candidates with plasma table or fabrication shop experience who are comfortable working independently and handling a mix of work.

What You’ll Do:
- Operate and maintain our laser cutting table (Bodor C4 12kw)
- Load material using cranes or forklifts
- Run pre-programmed cut files provided by our CAD team
- Inspect and de-burr parts after cutting
- Support operation of other shop equipment:
- Accurshear
- Hydraulic Press Brake
- Dragon Tube & Pipe Processing Machine
- Horizontal Band Saw
- Follow job travelers and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Communicate effectively with shift lead and follow daily work priorities
Requirements:
- Laser table or fabrication experience in a job shop or steel shop
- Able to read blueprints and follow traveler instructions
- Comfortable operating or learning crane, forklift, and shop equipment
- Independent, reliable, and detail-focused
- Comfortable working second shift hours
Shifts:
- 1st shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 2nd shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 PM
Pay:
- $20 - $28 Based on experience + 10% shift premium (for 2nd shift only)
