Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring for a Material Handler in Lima, OH. As a Material Handler for Cardinal Staffing Services, you will support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment by safely moving materials, maintaining inventory flow, and ensuring finished products are properly packaged and prepared for shipment. This role is ideal for someone with forklift experience who enjoys staying active and working as part of a team.

2-2-3 rotating schedule
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished products
- Supply production with packaging materials and maintain production flow
- Label, ticket, and document finished products accurately
- Remove full totes and pallets from production and place them in the warehouse
- Pull inventory, prepare shipping paperwork, and load trailers
- Load raw materials into production as needed
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices
- Perform daily forklift inspections and complete required documentation
- Dispose of scrap and recycling materials using designated equipment
- Assist with sorting, rework, and other production support tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety, quality, GMP, and food safety procedures
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience required
- Warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Basic math and computer/documentation skills
- Experience completing shipping paperwork or Bills of Lading is a plus
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform physical work throughout a 12-hour shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
