Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring Material Handlers for a large, well-known client in Toledo, OH. As a Material handler you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations, ensuring that quality product is received, processed, and delivered in a timely manner according to client expectations. The Material Handler is responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of receiving, moving, locating, relocating, and shipping merchandise. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20.60) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operate rewind end of coil coating line.
2. Visually inspect coils to make sure there are no defects in the paint or metal (trash in paint, dents, scratches, etc.)
4. Cut samples of coated coil for QC lab inspection.
5. Keep work area clean
6. Participate in safety and other training programs as required.
7. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
8. Operate Forklift. Experience is required.
DESIRABLE JOB REQUISITES:
Education/Training/Experience:
Exposure to production environment preferred
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Strong reading and comprehension skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong mechanical skills
Basic computer skills a must
Ability to maintain a positive presence in the workplace
