Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing/ De-Wax Technician in Waterville, OH.  As a Manufacturing/ De-Wax Technician for Cardinal Staffing, you will work in a fast-paced machine shop and be involved in all aspects of metal casting in the chemical, food processing and mechanical industry.

Manufacturing/ De-Wax Technicians are required to perform a variety of tasks that require manual labor and use of tools, machinery, and equipment. The position entails heavy lifting and standing on your feet the entire shift. 
Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members!  All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18/hr + $1.50 shift differential ($19.50/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).  Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.

Available shifts include:
2nd shift: 3:00pm- 11:30pmMay need to train on 1st shift

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing/ De-Wax Technician:
  • Operate de-waxing ovens to remove wax patterns from ceramic molds.
  • Carefully monitor the de-waxing process to avoid shell damage or deformities 
  • Inspect molds after de-waxing and apply refractory cement as needed. 
  • Clean and maintain de-waxing equipment
  • Monitor temperature and timing during the heating process to ensure consistent de-waxing results. 

Required Qualifications of the Manufacturing/ De-Wax Technician:
  • Previous manufacturing experience.
  • Attention to Detail: Must have a good eye for detail and be able to identify defects.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time. Comfortable working in areas of moderate heat. 
  • Safety Conscious: Knowledge of safe working practices and the ability to follow company safety protocols.
  • Flexibility: Be willing to work in other areas of the shop as determined by workload.
