Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Service is hiring a Manufacturing floater located in Harrison Twp, MI. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Manufacturing floater to assemble and inspect metal parts in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and able to work with hand and power tools efficiently. Responsibilities of the Manufacturing floater Include:
Qualifications
- Cross train in multiple manufacturing and production departments.
- Operate nail guns, saws, and other hand/power tools safely
- Grinding operations
- Press operations
- Sorting and inspecting parts
- Plug gauging and quality checks
- Building and assembling shipping boxes
- Follow all company safety procedure and quality standards
- Maintain and clean and organized work area
- Adopt to changing job assignments and priorities throughout the workday
Qualifications
- Previous construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or pallet-building experience preferred
- Ability to lift to 50–75 lbs regularly
- Comfortable standing, bending, and working in a physical environment
- Ability to use measuring tools and follow specifications
- Strong attendance and work ethic
- 1st Shift, 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri, $16 hr.
