Cardinal Staffing is currently looking for a maintenance tech!  The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and fabricating machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure reliable production operations. This role requires strong technical knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, as well as a commitment to safety, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement.
Pay is $26-$32 per hour 
Shift is 6:00am-230pm  5-6 days a week 
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
  • Dismantle, assemble, and install industrial equipment following blueprints, schematics, and job orders.
  • Assist operators with diagnosing equipment malfunctions and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records in compliance with OSHA and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Perform welding, fabrication, and tooling maintenance as required.
  • Support facility upkeep, including janitorial, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, snow removal, and other general building maintenance tasks.
  • Follow company safety policies and enforce proper safety practices, including lockout/tagout, PPE use, and housekeeping standards.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance equipment reliability, production efficiency, and overall workplace safety.
Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of related maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (or equivalent combination of education and training).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, owner’s manuals, and maintenance instructions.
  • Welding and fabrication skills preferred.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to lift/move 25–40 lbs and perform work requiring standing, walking, stooping, or kneeling in a loud industrial environment.

Work Environment
  • Industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to moving machinery and loud noise.
  • PPE required at all times.
