Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring for a Maintenance Technician in Auburn Hills, MI. As a Maintenance Technician for Cardinal Staffing Services, you will be working for a leading manufacturer of drivetrain systems performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures.Pay is $25 per hourSchedule is Monday through Friday with some Saturday overtime. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on facility equipment. 
  • Troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on property structures 
  • Working in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations. 
  • Operating various electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic tools / machines.
 Requirements for Application:
  • Two or more years of relevant experience for maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent attendance in previous roles.
  • Relevant certifications are beneficial for consideration. 
  • Must be licensed to operate industrial fork trucks (all types) or receive the appropriate training.
  • Ability to troubleshoot & repair all machinery and systems and Tooling (Electrical and Mechanical).
  • Must be able to use various Inspection Measuring and Test Equipment (I.M.T.E.) equipment.
  • Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints.
  • Must be able to work from an elevated platform.

    • Utilize 5s principles to maintain clean and safe working environment. 
    • Understand and follow all required DOS standards.
  • Ability to work to customer schedules, contact vendors and procure materials.
  • Willing to travel to vendors or to procure materials, work overtime, weekends, holidays, and shutdowns when necessary.
  • Willing to attend training courses either on or off site.            
  • Be able to work independently, follow through and complete tasks, and handle a multitask workload.
