Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring Machine operators for a 2nd shift opportunity in Sandusky Position Summary In this contract to hire role, you will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of various types of machinery and equipment, ensuring the smooth and timely production of our high-quality goods. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to follow safety protocols will be crucial to your success in this position. Key Responsibilities - Operate and monitor a variety of machines and equipment, including but not limited to presses, lathes, and assembly tools
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to maintain optimal performance
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities Qualifications - Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including potential overtime as needed
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18.35, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement contributions, and paid time off. Shift availability 5 days 3p-11p (limited) OR 4 days 3p-1A
