Job Description
Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for Machine Shop Operator in Waterville, OH. The Machine Shop Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines to perform finishing operations on castings. No prior machine experience is required. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, willing to learn, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.

Monday - Friday 1st shift: 7:00am- 3:30pm(Overtime would start at 5am)

Responsibilities of the Machine Shop Operator:
- Machine Operation: Operate machines to perform finishing tasks on investment castings.
- Material Handling: Load and unload castings into machines and fixtures safely, ensuring correct positioning for machining.
- Inspection: Perform visual inspections of castings and use basic measuring tools to verify dimensions.
- Tool Maintenance: Monitor machine tools for wear.
- Workstation Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized, removing chips and debris from machines after operation.
Required Qualifications of the Machine Shop Operator:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: No prior machining experience is required. Previous work in manufacturing or production environments is preferred, but not required.
- Skills:
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Willingness to learn machine operation
