Job Description
Cardinal Staffing is immediately hiring Machine Operators within a manufacturing facility focusing on small medical devices in Lansing, MI. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC machines to create and manufacture finished products. Cardinal Staffing is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation, starting at $18/hr. as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision) available at 60 days. Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. They are currently looking to staff on their 2nd shift, working 2p-10:30p, Monday-Friday and some Saturdays based on need. Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
- Prepare machine for production by positioning
- Safely and effectively operates CNC machines to ensure quality product
- Performs required quality testing on products produced.
- Observes machine operation to detect piece defects or machine malfunction. Makes corrections to alleviate out of specification product.
- Position will entail standing for long periods of the day
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
- Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
- Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
