Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for a Screw Machine Operator in Belvidere, IL.  As a machine operator for Cardinal Staffing you will be working in an innovative manufacturing facility where they are a leader in producing screws, bolts, nuts and cold-framed components. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members!  All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation of $15.00 - $19.00 per hour. Referral bonuses available! 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm) | Monday through Friday are available. Job Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize safety above all and adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Operate equipment and perform basic machine setups as required, showcasing your technical expertise.
  • Conduct regular inspection checks to monitor the quality of all parts, upholding our commitment to excellence.
  • Record data for Statistical Process Control (SPC), ISO/QS documentation, contributing to our quality management systems.
  • Utilize forklifts and non-motorized devices to handle materials, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient logistics.
  • Perform minor machine maintenance, such as checking for oil leaks, adding grease, and visually inspecting machines.
  • Collaborate with fellow operators, offering support and assistance when needed, fostering teamwork.
  • Proactively suggest process improvement ideas, demonstrating your commitment to innovation and efficiency.
  • Fulfill any additional duties assigned by the supervisor, displaying flexibility and a can-do attitude.
