Lead Installer/ Fabricator
Job Description
This is a Monday- Friday position, working 6:00a.m.- 4:30 p.m. with the opportunity for some overtime. Long term opportunities available! Pay starts at $20/hr. with opportunities to grow within the company and monetarily.
What You’ll Do:
• Operate machines like shears, brakes, punches, drill presses, and CNC equipment to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal.
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products using welding (MIG/Stick), soldering, and riveting.
• Build and install systems including ventilation ducts, exhaust hoods, frames, dust collection piping, and material handling equipment.
• Follow blueprints, engineering drawings, and building codes to ensure proper installation.
• Safely use rigging and hoisting equipment during installation.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain productivity and follow supervisor instructions throughout the shift.
What We’re Looking For:
• Must have your own tools.
• Must pass a welding test (MIG and Stick required; TIG is a plus).
• Prior experience in sheet metal fabrication and structural welding required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting skills.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Willing to travel 50–75% (travel typically in 2-week to 1-month periods).
• Dependable with strong attendance history.
