Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for an Assistant Kitchen Manager in Perrysburg, OH. An assistant manager's role is to provide support to a manager and oversee day-to-day operations. 
Pay: Part-time hourly rate (pay based of experience)         Full time- $35, 000 - $50, 000  salary (pay based off experience)
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Managing Inventory: Ensuring all necessary ingredients are stocked for service.
  • Hiring and Training Staff: Recruiting new kitchen staff and providing training.
  • Supervising Food Preparation: Overseeing food prep and cooking to maintain quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Checking food plating, temperature, and portion sizes.
  • Menu Development: Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop and maintain the menu.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Setting cleaning standards and ensuring staff follows sanitation protocols.
  • Scheduling: Creating schedules for kitchen staff.
  • Financial Management: Tracking kitchen finances and identifying areas of potential waste.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Coordinating with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Head Chef.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage and train staff.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work evenings and weekends.
