Inventory Control Associate

Cardinal Staffing Services, is hiring for Inventory Control Associate in Lake Township, OH.  As a Stockroom Associate for Cardinal Staffing, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including: 
  1. Shipping & Receiving (Picker / Packer)
  2. Quality Assurance 
  3. Inventory Control (RF Scanners)
The position is for a company that manufactures circuit boards for military, medical, and food industries.  They are looking for someone to primarily pick parts for their circuit board assemblers, so you would need to be comfortable reading basic work orders.  As new inventory comes in, you'd also be helping to scan & receive items into their system and put the product away where it belongs.  Other duties as assigned.  Preferred background in logistics, shipping, & receiving.

Responsibilities of the Inventory Control/ Stockroom Associate:
  • Pick, pull, and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area. 
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments. 
  • Load and unload pallets.  Scan items into inventory control system using RF Scanner. 
  • Safely & efficiently use warehouse equipment including pallet jack, hydraulic jack, RF Scanner, computers, and handheld printers. 
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions.   
 Required Qualifications of the Inventory Control/ Stockroom Associate: 
  • Previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred. 
  • High attention to detail and safety/compliance. 
  • Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement. 
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
