Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring for an Inside Sales Representative position in Tallahassee, FL. As an Inside Sales Representative for Cardinal Staffing Services, you will be working in a fast-paced sales environment where relationship building, multi-tasking, and teamwork are key. 
Pay is $16.00 per hour*
A background in building material sales/purchasing is preferred. However, anyone who possess sales skills and experience with building materials are also encouraged to apply. Knowledge of framing lumber, siding, doors, and windows is a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepares accurate and prompt quotes for potential customers. 
  • Handles and processes customer returns. 
  • Develops and maintains a working technical knowledge of products sold. 
  • Coordinates customer delivery requirements with the dispatcher. 
  • Purchasing of special orders and stocks materials. 
  • Work to generate new accounts.
  • Follow up on quotes and awarded projects. 
  • Help to resolve customer concerns. 
  • Maintaining existing customers through relationship building. 
 Must meet all the following requirements:
  • Must have a can-do, customer service first attitude.
  • Basic math skills. 
  • A reliable memory needed to maintain knowledge of building materials. 
  • Prior experience with building materials. 
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous sales experience preferred. 
  • Previous experience in inventory management. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
