Cardinal Staffing is looking for an Sewing Machine Operator at local facility in Owosso, MI who would be responsible for sewing fabric cushions and upholstery components used in outdoor and casual furniture.
Shift: 6am - 2:30pm (Mon-Fri) Weekends as needed
Pay: $16.39

Shift: 6am - 2:30pm (Mon-Fri) Weekends as needed
Pay: $16.39
Primary Job Duties:
- Sew upholstery panels together using industrial sewing machines.
- Follow product patterns to assemble cushions and furniture components.
- Sew around welt cord and decorative seams as required.
- Close open-end cushions after stuffing.
- Perform decorative stitching through finished cushions.
- Inspect sewn materials to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain consistent production output according to daily goals.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work areas.
- Work as part of a production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience using industrial sewing machines
- Ability to follow patterns and work instructions
- Manufacturing or production environment experience preferred
- Attention to detail and quality
- Zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy for safety reasons
- Ability to pass:
- Drug screening
- Background check
- Reference check
- Indoor manufacturing facility
- Production-based work
- Repetitive sewing tasks
- Standing for extended periods
- Working with fabric, foam, and upholstery materials
