Job Description
SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Import/Export Customer Service Clerk for a Food company in Midlothian,TX. The premise of this role is providing efficient and accurate information to both internal and external company customers by utilizing their knowledge of the company products and programs as well as team members within the Customer Care Department. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $22.00 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include Monday-Friday-8am-5pm Customer Service Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinated domestic and international shipments.
•
Arrange Booking with freight forwarders.
•
Process export shipment details in oracle system
•
Process export documents, coordinate documents with other departments and forwarders, such as Commercial invoices, Packing list, SED, manufacturing declaration, manufacture certification, Certificate of Origin, BOL and Trade agreements.
•
Coordinated/tracked shipments with freight forwarders.
•
Update customers on a regular basis on their shipments
•
Resolve any issues that may arise with export shipments.
•
Reviewed and processed invoices to ensure accurate billing for payment from carriers/brokers.
•
Backup for imports shipments
•
Arrange ISF (import security filing)
•
Submit import documents to Customs Broker
•
Conduct administrative work such as processing carriers’ labels for other departments.
•
Compiles a list of all open orders for each customer and e-mails to customer each month.
•
Create sales orders and assigns estimated ship dates
•
E-mails departments weekly reports
•
Provide Weekly Update to Affiliates
•
Coordinates with Quality Control Department for the release of needed product
•
Maintains new product order forms schedule and prepares shipment report.
•
Edits orders received by checking for proper case quantities, inactive or discontinued items or any new items not on the system.
•
Assists in order entry process.
•
Assists in the shipment of orders in Fusion
- High school diploma; associate’s degree or bachelor degree in business or related field preferred but not required
- Previous experience handling office responsibilities or experience in customer serviced preferred but not required
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
