Job Title: HR Generalist

We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team! You will assist the HR Manager with all departmental/Human Resources and related functions. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of appropriate documentation throughout employment history for all employees.

Day shift

Flexible schedule, but not remote/hybrid

 



Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the administration of policies and procedures in the area of human resources including:

o Benefits

o Safety and Health

o Employee Work Rules and Regulations

o Employee Orientation

o Training

Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees

On-board and train new employees

Implement company culture, values, and policies

Prepare employee meeting minutes, letters, memorandums, and other documents as required.

Prepare monthly employee meeting presentations and present as required

Prepare employee notices, letters, memorandums, and other documents as required.

Provide management with requested reports and documents

Coordinate events focused on employee recognition

Have a daily presence on the shop floor and provide flexible coverage across all shifts when required

Accurately maintain employee files

 



Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years experience in the Human Resources field, prefer experience in the non-profit sector.

BA required; HR-related certification/degree is preferred

Knowledge of labor and employment laws

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and HRIS software (ERP, ATS, etc.)

Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Strong organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills



Compensation package between $70-75K/year, annual bonus, and paid health/dental/vision benefits.
