Position Summary: Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair and maintain HVAC inventory and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site s business goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Inspect and diagnose HVAC units from inventory, customer returns, freight damaged and warehouse damaged products,
2. Read HVAC parts lists and follow process to order replacement parts and pieces.
3. Repair damaged HVAC products.
4. Re-carton HVAC products.
5. Return to stock the repaired HVAC products
6. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
7. Perform regular preventive maintenance on installed HVAC equipment and company owned machines within the plant facilities.
8. Perform a variety of plumbing and electrical maintenance. Including replacing light bulbs and filters.
9. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric and freon meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
10. Detect defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
11. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
12. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:
Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and HVAC repair \ maintenance experience;
An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus;
2+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7: 45 a.M. To 4: 15 p.M. Overtime is required to meet the demands of the business.
