Job Description
We are looking for a dependable General Maintenance Technician to help with routine maintenance and upkeep throughout a local manufacturing facility.
This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working around a manufacturing and welding environment and doesn’t mind getting dirty. The person in this role will help keep the shop, equipment areas, and paint booths maintained so production employees can stay focused on their work.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working around a manufacturing and welding environment and doesn’t mind getting dirty. The person in this role will help keep the shop, equipment areas, and paint booths maintained so production employees can stay focused on their work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform general light maintenance throughout the facility
- Replace light bulbs and handle basic facility upkeep as needed
- Blow dust and debris from cranes, welders, and other shop equipment
- Learn the facility’s paint system and assist with monthly preventative upkeep
- Complete weekly filter changes on three paint booths
- Remove built-up paint from paint booth floors and walls
- Apply protective coverings to booth walls and floors and replace them approximately every 2 to 4 weeks
- Help keep paint booth areas clean and properly maintained
- Assist with other general shop maintenance projects as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous general maintenance, facility maintenance, manufacturing, or similar hands-on experience is preferred
- Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Able to work independently and stay on top of recurring maintenance tasks
- Comfortable working around dust, paint, welding equipment, and production areas
- Willing and able to learn the paint system and required preventative maintenance
- Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail
- Must be available to work Saturdays
Schedule
- Weekday hours plus required Saturday work
- Specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
- Pay will be based on experience and discussed during the interview process.
