Are you looking for work? Cardinal Staffing has partnered with a leading full-service Steel Facility in New Boston, MI! As the top employer in the area, we offer weekly pay and other amazing employee benefits!Details:1st shift =$17.00/hr   2nd shift=$17.40/hr
  • 1st shift – 7:00am-3:00pm M-F (must be open to overtime if needed)
  • 2nd shift – 3:00pm-11:00pm M-F (must be open to overtime if needed)
  • Hire-In opportunity after 90 Days (based on attendance and performance)
  • Full Benefits available after Hire-In date
  • WEEKLY PAY
Requirements/Job Summary:
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently throughout shift
  • Proficiency with reading Tape Measure (MUST pass tape measure test)
  • Slitting sheet metal down to customer-specified sizes
  • Banding steel coils and preparing for shipment
  • Working on a shear with the other operators, and helping as needed
  • Looking for defects on the material as it moves on the line
  • Setting up skids
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work station, for the safety of yourself and others
  • Must be team-oriented, and work well with others!
  • STEEL TOE BOOTS/SHOES REQUIRED
