Position SummaryCardinal Staffing. is seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to join our production team in Livonia, MI. This entry-level position plays a key role in supporting daily operations within our refrigerated meat processing and packaging facility. Team members will assist with packaging, labeling, quality inspections, sanitation, and general warehouse duties while maintaining high standards of food safety and product quality.

Team members will assist with packaging, labeling, quality inspections, sanitation, and general warehouse duties while maintaining high standards of food safety and product quality.
Essential Responsibilities
- Package and label meat and food products according to company specifications and quality standards.
- Load and unload products from production lines and designated workstations.
- Weigh, sort, and inspect products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Operate basic production equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and properly dispose of waste materials.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures.
- Perform repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving products throughout the shift.
- Assist with end-of-shift cleaning and sanitation activities.
- Support production teams and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or line leads.
- No previous experience required; paid training is provided.
- Ability to work in a cold, fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to following all food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
- Refrigerated meat processing and packaging facility (approximately 35°F).
- Continuous standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Exposure to raw meat products, cleaning agents, and production machinery.
- Fast-paced environment requiring adherence to safety and quality standards.
